A ceramic artist based in nipaluna/Hobart, Kate’s practice explores material storytelling and environmental narrative through the transformation of overlooked and discarded matter.
Working with local geology and post-industrial by-products such as quarry dust, volcanic rock, and hospitality waste, she develops experimental ceramic surfaces grounded in material research and place.
